Day 2 Key points
• Parking. There has been a large entry to the event. Please share transport where possible and park tightly, as directed by the car park marshals. The Car Park will open to competitors at 08.00. There will be a couple of toilets and a urinal near the start of the walk to Assembly.
• Livestock. There are chickens & ducks from the farm in the parking fields. Dogs must be on leads at all times.
• Walks. Note the significant distances and climbs between the Car Park, Assembly, the three starts and Main Finish. Much of this is a common route.
• Toilets. There will be no toilets at the starts. Please use the ones in Assembly.
• White Start. The White Start area is small. Please follow the tapes and keep away unless you need to go to the White Start.
• Shorts. Subject to last minute Controller review, you may wear shorts if you wish. But carrying a hooded waterproof jacket is advised, especially for those competitors leaving from the high, Red Start and running on Bessyboot.
• Everyone must report to Download. Even if you retire.
• String Course. This will be open for younger competitors from approx. 1000 – 1330.
• Departure. No departures before 1230.
• Litter. Please take all your litter away with you.

Day 2 Organisers
Day 3 Key points
• Travel. Please give plenty of time to travel to the event, traffic may be slow as you exit off the A593. The turn from Ambleside direction is a particularly sharp bend and will therefore slow traffic.
• Parking. Entrance to the parking fields are narrow so no large camper vans please - maximum size VW transporter. The nearest camping areas are in Coniston village, please arrange lift shares.
• Blue Badge Parking. Please make yourself known on arrival. You will be directed to a special row.
• Assembly Layout. See image.
• Walk to Starts. Exit to both starts is directly from the arena, no exit via carpark entrance please.
Red start has 2 x stiles and 1 road crossing please follow marshals instructions.
White start through fields, small road section and farmyard.
• Water. Please note the start is some distance away from the finish. Having taken account of the weather conditions and decided to take a drink with you to the start, only take a reusable bottle if you intend to return to the Start to collect after your run. If you use a disposable bottle, please ensure that it is emptied & placed in the binbags provided.
• Clothing Dump. The is no clothing dump as the Start & Finish are not close.
• Toilets. There will be no toilets at the start. Please use the ones in Assembly.
• Start. Courses 1 - 17 at Red start on Yewdale Fell. Courses 18 & 19 (Yellow & White) in Tilberthwaite. Please be aware of slower or less mobile competitors and give them time and space, on the climb to the Red Start & particularly on the short rocky section on the descent from the Red finish..
• Animals on Courses. It is likely that there will be sheep, dogs (and walkers) on the area. Please avoid.
• Everyone must report to Download. Even if you retire.
• String Course. This will be open for younger competitors from approx. 1000 – 1330. See arena layout.
• Departure. No departures before 1230.
• Litter. Please take all litter away with you (including those little bits of tape from your laces).
• Helpers. Thank You! You should have received an email which indicates your role and timing, along with a set of helper instructions.

A very simple Summary would be
- Days 1, 3 & 5 have parking adjacent to Assembly
- There is a walk from Parking to Assembly on Days 2 & 4
- Days 2 & 3 have the longest walks to the Starts
- There will only be clothing dumps on Days 1 & 2

Binsey Field Kitchen, Podium Catering, Compass Point, Lal Yan Coffee & Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream will attend every day with NWJS Cake Stall on Sunday & Friday.

Binsey Field Kitchen – different menu each day – around £10 main meal
- Torpenhow dairy mac and cheese, topped with Pulled pork & Mediterranean veg or Falafel
- Poke Bowls of Rice (cold) - broad beans, sweet corn, avocado, red cabbage topped with Sweet chilli chicken (hot) or Beetroot Falafel
- Greeks blinders menu: Lebanese flat bread, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and Greek yoghurt - Chicken souvlaki style - Mediterranean veg and halloumi – Side of Fries
- BBQ - Minted lamb or Vegetable skewers, Burgers, Hot dogs – Side of Fries - All served with double onions, salad and sauce, in either a brioche hot dog or burger roll
- Yorkshire puddings, garlic, rosemary and salt roast new potatoes, peas. Filled with either Beef brisket, Pulled pork or Nut roast
- Breakfast Menu:
- Sausage and bacon sandwiches, Linskeldfield farm eggs, Black pudding
- Avocado and tomato on toast
- Porridge
- Selection of hot and cold drinks
Lal Yan
- A range of coffees, from espresso to iced and a selection of specialty teas
NWJS
Cake stall will be present on Day 1 and Day 5, plus Rest Day event at Birkrigg.
They will be selling tea/coffee and other hot drinks along with a marvellous selection of cakes, including Gluten and Dairy free options.
Payment by Cash or card (assuming mobile signal).
Event Merchandise
Pre-ordered/paid merchandise will be available to collect on Days 1, 5 and Rest Day from NWJS operations and on Days 2,3,4 from Enquiries.
Some limited items of merchandise (Tops & Hats) will be available to purchase.
If we don't have your size then items can be ordered for delivery post event.

The third closing date was last night.
Entries will now be paused for 3 days whilst Start times are allocated.
Having taken entry numbers we will add a small margin before sending numbers to the printers.
There will only be a small number of maps remaining for sale for each course when Entries reopen on Thursday July 16th.
