Entries
9 August 2010 - Pre entries are now closed. Click here to see the start list.
Entries to age class courses will be taken at the event while spare maps are available. You may enter at the Saturday reception centre in Coniston between 12:00 and 16:00 or at enquiries at any of the events. You may enter for multiple days at one time if you wish. You may reserve a map until Sunday 15 August by sending an email with your name, the course and the days you wish to enter. Thereafter it is first come, first served.
Because maps for colour coded courses will be printed on site, there will be unlimited entry at the event to these courses.
Final details about the event can be found in the programme.
Alterations
9 August 2010 - We are no longer processing entry changes or amendments in advance of the event. We will process changes and amendments at the event itself where there will be a £5 charge per competitor if a change of course or a transfer to another person is involved. Minor changes such as a change of SI card or a change of start time will be free.
A number of spare maps are available on each age class course and these will be used to facilitate course changes and for entry on the day whilst the stocks last. Maps for colour coded courses will be printed on site so there is no limit for these. We will process changes and take entries at the Reception Centre at Coniston Sports Centre on Saturday 21st August between 12:00 and 16:00 and at the Enquiries Point at each event. If you email by Sunday 15 August we will reserve a map. Thereafter it will be first come, first served so the earlier you visit the Reception Centre or the Enquiries Point, the better your chances of securing the change you require.
N.B. Any competitor running under another name will be disqualified.
Cancellations
9 August 2010 - We are no longer giving refunds for cancellations.
Should all or part of the event be cancelled, the organisers reserve the right to retain all or part of the entry fees to cover committed costs.
Start times
The start period will be from 10:00 to 14:00 on days 1 to 4 and from 09:00 to 13:00 on day 5. Start times will be balanced over the five days with competitors from the same club being allocated to the same start block.
- Competitors entering together (on the same form) will be allocated to the club block of the first competitor.
- In all other cases competitors will be allocated to their own club block.
- If there are exceptions to these rules then please specify your request in the special request box.
Electronic Timing
All days will use SPORTident. Please include your SI number on the entry form. If you don't have your own SI cards, they are available for hire at £1 per day; please pre-book these with your entry. All lost cards will be charged at £30 each.
