Thanks to those of you who turned out on Tuesday evening - especially those of you who had already had physical runs in Grizedale just a few hours earlier!
The weather was a bit grim at tea time so I was not too surprised that a good few of the pre entries decided that Grizedale was enough for one day!
In the end the weather cleared up in time for the mass start and stayed dry for the duration of the run.
Well done to Nick & Sarah-Jane for your results in the 90 min score.
Josh O'S-H, Jackie C, and Pippi/Jean Bell - your Sticky Toffee Pudding prizes for 1st Male / 1st Female on the 60 min score can be collected from Enquiries on Day 4 at Pike O Blisco - well done.

An informal / friendly (but keenly contested!) evening event with a fun Mass Start and an opportunity for food, drink and post-race analysis in a local pub in the lovely village of Cartmel in the South Lakes
- A score event format with 60 minute and 90 minute run options (choose on the night)
- Courses planned on an extract from the 1:25,000 Ordnance Survey map enlarged to a scale of around 1:15,000 (example map section below)
- Participants make use of the extensive footpath, bridleway, and minor road network to collect as many points as they can in the time available
- Run individually or as a pair
- Under 16s MUST be accompanied by an adult
- Maps and Clue Q & A sheets printed on waterproof paper - bring a pen/pencil & a watch
- "Treasure hunt" format control sites - no flags - answer a question at each control site to prove you have been there
- Mass start at 7:15pm (Competitor Briefing at 7:05pm)
- Parking & enquiries from 6:00pm (Please arrive in plenty of time)
