Next closing date for entries is approaching and is 30th April, so get your entries in to save a little money. It also really helps the planning team.

In the summer of 2022, the 8th Lakes 5 event will take place in the English Lake District, home of some of the country’s most beloved scenery and finest orienteering areas. The event will incorporate five individual national events between Sunday 7th August and Friday 12th August 2022.

The following is the current plan, but this could change as the areas are subject to confirmation of permissions.

Sunday 7th August Day 1 High Pike, Caldbeck - may be changed as permissions have not been confirmed. Alternatives are being sought and details will be posted when they are confirmed (correct as at 19/4/22)

Monday 8th August Day 2 Threlkeld Knotts, Threlkeld

Tuesday 9th August Day 3 Graythwaite, Dale Park Oak Woodlands (Changed venue following storm damage)

Wednesday 10th August - Rest day

Thursday 11th August Day 4 Grizedale, Satterthwaite

Friday 12th August Day 5 Helsington Barrows, Kendal
