What is the entry fee?

How do I amend the class and other details of an existing entry?
Please see the entries page for amendments and changes.
Will there be any entry on the day (EOD)?
EOD will be available for colour coded courses.
EOD for age classes will ONLY be available if there are unused start times and maps are available.
Can I cancel my entry and get a refund?
See the cancellation policy on the entries page.
Can I use my SI card?
Yes, all types of competition SI card (5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and SIAC) can be used. The controls will be enabled for SIAC use although the start and finish MUST be ‘punched’.
Is there a rest day event?
Yes. This will take the form of a score event to be based near Ulverston, details to follow.
What are the start times each day?
There will be a 4 minute call up. Starts are 10.30am to 1.30pm with courses closing at 3.30pm
Will there be a bus to each competition day?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide a bus service to the individual race sites. See individual days if a Public Transport option is possible.
Will there be a crèche/kindergarten provided for children?
No, however it is possible for parents to request split starts.
What courses will be provided for young children?
There will be a string course provided each day for young children, using special maps. The course will be available between 10:00 and 15:00. There will be no charge.
Is there mobile phone reception?
To be advised.
Will there be traders at the event where I can buy equipment?
Yes, there will be a trader who supplies orienteering equipment; this will be an excellent opportunity to upgrade your o-kit.
Will dogs be allowed in assembly areas?
The Lake District is sheep country; many of the landowners whose land we run and park on are dependent on sheep. No dogs in the competition areas. Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in car parks; owners are expected to clean up after them.

Many of the approach roads to some of the race sites are narrow and winding with dry stone walls on both sides...
Only small camper vans can be accommodated in Parking fields due to narrow approaches.
Will start times be allocated for colour coded competitors?
No, start times will be open for colour coded competitors.
