The Rest Day activity on Wednesday August 5th 2026 will be a Score Event.
This will be hosted by the juniors of North West Junior Orienteering Squad.
It will be held on Birkrigg Common, just outside the town of Ulverston in the South Lakes.
Parking
Parking will be on the grass beside White Gill Lane.
Courses
There will be two options - Short at 45minutes or Long at 60minutes.
Starts
The Starts will be from 4pm to 6pm with courses closing at 7pm.
Entries are being capped at 150 per course, 300 in total for this event.
No Start times
There will not be any Start times issued.
The Start process will be for people turning up and joining a queue for their course between 4pm and 6pm.
The Start interval will be approximately 1minute, to try and process people as quickly as possible.
Entry Details
Entries will be online via SI Entries and will open on Weds June 3rd.
Entries will Close when the course limit has been reached.
There will only be Entry on the Day if there are places still available.
Entry Fees
£6 for BOF Seniors; £8 for non BOF Seniors and £4 for Juniors or Students.
